Carly Brascoupé

Carly Brascoupé graduated from Humber College in 2016 in the Public Relations Advanced Diploma program. Her communities are Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, (Quebec) and Batchawana Bay First Nation (Ontario). Carly is a Toronto-based writer, and trend-setter, who is passionate about photography. She is actively involved with the Indigenous youth community and has a keen interest in fashion, film, music and the arts. Growing up with her Anishinaabe traditions from ceremonies, dancing, medicine and stories, her creative writings focus on Indigenous contemporary fashion, Indigenous knowledge and events throughout Toronto. She also writes for fashion and style columns for the workplace and does Q&A profile articles. Her journey started with Roots Canada as she progressively worked her way up with J Crew, Banana Republic and Diesel Canada as an event photographer. As a lifestyle & beauty PR extraordinaire for Maybelline New York, Garnier, Club Monaco, The Body Shop and Essie Nail Polish, she initiated a blog about her experiences.
