Toronto, ON—Calgary’s Bebe Buckskin shares the second single, “Muskeg Blues”, from her forthcoming EP Asiskiy (meaning “Dirt” in Cree). Asiskiy is out May 22nd 2020. “Muskeg Blues” is available now on all music services.

Listen/Share: Bebe Buckskin “Muskeg Blues

Bebe recently returned from appearances at the Indigenous Music Summit at Folk Alliance and a run of shows in Nashville, TN.  She also began work on her upcoming full-length album at the Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Bebe Buckskin is straight up rock and roll. Growing up in the dense great northern muskeg, with little contact to urban city life, significantly shaped how Bebe creates and conveys her craft. Classic country, gospel, blues and rock  are the genres that take precedence over any others within her music. The nostalgic 60’s/70’s feel paired with her contemporary voice and Indigenous perspective makes for a fresh and innovative sound.
