Evergreen’s weekend market is looking for motivated youth vendors from the Indigenous community (age 18-29) to participate in a professional development series, leading up to our Holiday Craft market this December. Professional Development program: October 25-November 29 (dates TBC)
Holiday Show dates: Dec 5th – 26th (based on vendor preference)

***Vendors will have an opportunity beyond the holiday market to continue selling for a standard fee***

About Evergreen

Mission: Inspiring action to green cities Vision: Green Cities, Healthy Planet

About Evergreen Brick Works: Transformed from a collection of deteriorating heritage buildings into a global showcase for green design and urban sustainability, Evergreen Brick Works is both a stage and incubator for Evergreen’s programs. The Farmer’s / Craft Market

Evergreen started its Farmers Market in 2007 with 25 local farmers and producers, a great location and a great response from the community. Since then, Evergreen Brick Works Farmers Market has grown to become the largest farmers’ market in Toronto. Running year-round, we’ve expanded to include craft vendors on both Saturdays and Sundays including new partnerships with Makers and artisans including Etsy vendors.

Dates & Location

Workshop and meeting dates will be determined after vendors are selected. A time commitment of ~8 hours/week (fluctuating) would be required of vendors. All vendors must be available for a minimum of 4 weekend dates during the holiday market, with 8 hour shifts.

Each holiday market will take place at Evergreen Brick Works, at 550 Bayview Ave. Toronto, ON. Visitor and basic Farmer’s Market information can be found at www.evergreen.ca or you can call or e-mail Liz George at 416-596-1495 EXT 389 or exhibits@evergreen.ca

What we provide…What you bring…

Successful applicants will receive a professional development workshop series, resulting in a bio, business cards, some display materials, and promotion through our vendor channels.

Applicants must have existing products and the means to create more. Transportation assistance & refreshments are available for workshops and meetings. Vendors are required to plan their own transportation and meals during holiday market dates.

Please submit your Application Form (attached) and images by 5pm on Sunday, October 11th, 2015 to exhibits@evergreen.ca – thank you for your interest!
