Indigenous Women in Leadership (IWIL)

Date: Thursday, June 17, 2021 GMT-0500
Time: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This year’s Indigenous Women in Leadership (IWIL) event recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of our 2021 award recipient Chief Tammy Cook-Searson, an Indigenous woman who leads by example and empowers others to succeed. We also shine the spotlight on the achievements of our past IWIL award laureates, Jody Wilson-Raybould, Roberta Jamieson, Nicole Bourque-Bouchier and Deborah Saucier. These women not only inspire the next generation of leaders and role models, but they lend their voice to others to remain resilient and tenacious. Giving strength to other women, these trailblazers, especially during this time of uncertainty and instability, encourage us to move forward and to adapt to circumstances. We all need support to find our courage to be the best version of ourselves, and to become the experience and the change that empowers youth and women entrepreneurs to ultimately strengthen the economy. CCAB’s IWIL event connects you and helps you find the support and courage to define your path to a successful future.
