Skywoman Iroquois Dance Theater comes to Ganondagan State Historic Site in the theatrical world premiere performance of the Iroquois Creation Story — one showing only at 3 pm, Saturday, June 29. This 40-minute, one-act performance led by artistic director Bill Crouse (Seneca), features traditional songs, dances and Seneca regalia sharing the story about the origin of the Earth and the positive message about Seneca and Haudenosaunee values and worldview.
This interpretive theatrical piece featuring 10 performers provides a platform for a new, contemporary way of sharing the Iroquois Creation Story.
