A timely public forum will explore the legacy and impact of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples (RCAP), which issued its final report 20 years ago, and how it can inform the reconciliation process following the report from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in 2015.
What
Sharing the Land, Sharing a Future – hosted by several organizations and academic institutions including Queen’s University and its School of Policy Studies – will take place Nov. 2-4 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The public forum will engage a wide range of participants through a series of keynote addresses and interactive sessions. The forum is intended to mobilize, explore, and extend knowledge available from RCAP and experience of the intervening years to advance reconciliation.
