I AM SELLING NUTS AS A FUNDRAISER – YES NUTS

I AM SELLING NUTS AS A FUNDRAISER – YES NUTS

We are heading toward the federal court of appeal in the new year, and need to generate $40,000 to proceed.  The fundraising campaign will support my work to challenge the continued sex discrimination in the Indian Act. These nuts make for a great gift this festive season. And the best thing is that they are from Anishinaabeg territory.

I also have a facebook group where I am selling other items such as my school books and donated items from valued supporters of unknown and unstated paternity and the Indian Act. Here is the link if you want to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1419549438313386/

Here is a link to a blog that offers an interesting story about how it is that when Indigenous women lose in these type of court cases all women do win… eventually: http://www.lynngehl.com/black-face-blogging/revisiting-lavell-and-bedard
