Applications for CBC’s Indigenous Pathways to Journalism program are open until June 21, 2023. This paid, full-time, 9-month learning and development opportunity supports seven First Nations, Inuit or Métis candidates to hone their skills as storytellers in CBC newsrooms. One successful candidate will be based in each of this year’s host locations: Vancouver, Calgary, Yellowknife, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Montreal and Halifax. Indigenous Pathways provides journalism training, career development support, and work experience. Journalism education or employment history are not required to apply.
