Currently we are looking for a talented Graphic Design Intern to complement our creative team.
The goal of the Haft2 Indigenous Internship program is to offer First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Participants professional and technical training in a creative studio. The program runs for a full 12 months broken into three periods of time – January to April, May to August and September to December (until the holiday break).
This is a paid internship. Candidates must be available 20 hours per week between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
We offer practical experience for Indigenous people who would like to broaden their knowledge and skills in various aspects of creative design.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts through to final production
- Collaborate with our studio on a variety of design projects for clients and the Haft2 brand
- Aid in print and digital production tasks
- Create content and maintain the Haft2’s social media platforms
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Adobe XD
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented, as well as a forward thinker
