Dr. Malcolm King hails from the west coast where he is a professor with the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Aboriginal People’s Health.

A member of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation (Ojibway), Dr. King is a leader in the development of a national health research agenda aimed at improving wellness and achieving health equity for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada.
