The Association for Native Development in the Performing & Visual Arts (ANDPVA) presents the following ANDPVA artists:

Crystal Sinclair: The night’s performances will open with a hand drum song.

Digging Roots: Musical partners Raven and ShoShone are the creative team and inspiration behind Digging Roots. This traditional method of creating songs is paired with modern Eurocentric techniques of composition.

Rosary Spence: This multitalented singer, song composer, and performing artist is Cree from Fort Albany First Nation, an isolated community on James Bay in northern Ontario. Her newest release, Maskawasiwin, is a recording infused with acoustic rhythms, Indigenous fusions, and urban beats.

Sean Conway: A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Peterborough, Ontario, Sean Conway blurs the bridges between classic 60s-era country music and early pop rock while embracing his spontaneous nature as an entertainer and musician.

Manifest Destiny’s Child: A collective of Indigenous female stand-up comedians sharing their humble, humorous, and gregarious perspectives on what it means to be a modern Indian getting by in a colonial world.

DJ Classic Roots: The sexy heartbeat of the boreal north is brought to life with his unique brand of electronica and pow wow techno. The Thunder Bay native is an award-winning producer and DJ who is impacting the music community with his fresh sound and meaningful collaborations with diverse artists. Drawing inspiration from his life and culture, Classic Roots established his original sound by integrating First Nations songs with electronica music.
