64 children from 25 countries from all over the world gathered in Sweden. Several of the delegates have already been affected by the climate crisis in their home countries. The purpose of the conference is to work together to agree on “the children’s demands,” a communiqué handed to the world’s leaders at the climate summit COP21, also known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, December 3 in Paris.

“We only have one earth, let’s make sure it lasts” – Francesca Pheasant

“Our water is getting sick. In my territory there are families that can’t drink the water” – Autumn Peltier

“There are changes happening right now in Northern Ontario to the animals migration patterns, natural plants we harvest and the water” – Bernadette Shawanda

  • His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf will receive the children at the Royal Castle.
  • The Swedish Minister for Climate and the Environment Hon. Åsa Romson will meet the children at her office and receive the children’s message to the COP21.
