TREATY EDUCATION RESOURCE TO BE LAUNCHED

Ontario Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Zimmer and Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Patrick Madahbee will be launching an education resource that will help children learn about the treaty relationship in Ontario at an early age.

WHAT: Launch of “We are all Treaty People” teachers kit

WHO: Ontario Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Zimmer, Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Patrick Madahbee, Kelly Crawford, teachers guide author (citizen of M’Chigeeng FN living in Lively, ON) and 9 year-old Alexander Hebert, designer of the LEGO “Treaty of Niagara” wampum belt (citizen of Dokis FN, living in Sturgeon Falls, ON)

WHERE: UOI head office, 1 Migizii Miikun Road, Hwy 17 West, Nipissing First Nation (beside Eagle’s Nest gas station)
