We Are All Treaty People: A Gala Dinner

This delightful evening will allow guests to embrace
Treaty 7 traditions and ceremony.

Singing, smudging and meaningful conversation will take place at intimate table gatherings to enjoy “family-style” traditional cuisine, paired with distinctive “forage drinks” all co-created by three celebrated chefs: Grey Eagle’s Bill Alexander, River Café’s Matthias Fong and the Deane House’s Jamie Harling.

Enjoy an interactive component to the evening, as an Indigenous artist will perform and lead the guests in the show’s Honour song.

Immediately following the dinner, guests will be escorted to the best seats in the house to enjoy the performance.

Making Treaty 7 tells the story of the1877 agreement between Queen Victoria and First Nations of Western Canada and investigates the consequences and implications today.
