2015 ONTARIO ARTS COUNCIL ABORIGINAL ARTS AWARD

Please join us for the presentation of the 2015 Ontario Arts Council Aboriginal Arts Award at the Planet IndigenUs festival.

The laureate is author and playwright Daniel David Moses, and he has selected Falen Johnson as this year’s emerging artist recipient.

This presentation will precede the scheduled performance by Holly McNarland.

The Ontario Arts Council Aboriginal Arts Award is presented annually to celebrate Aboriginal artists and arts leaders who have made significant contributions to the arts in Ontario. The award also acknowledges the next generation of Aboriginal artists: the laureate is invited to select an Aboriginal artist who best exemplifies Ontario’s emerging Aboriginal arts leadership.
