Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver-based True Calling Films has been nominated for an internationally acclaimed Cannes Award for their work surrounding the story of Kylik Kisoun Taylor, who runs an authentic arctic experiences tourism company that connects people with Inuit culture in the heart of the arctic.
Cannes has formally invited the Vancouver-based company to attend the prestigious film and television industry awards happening this September.

The Heart of the Arctic episode tells the unique story of Kylik Kisoun Taylor, an Entrepreneur, Cultural Ambassador and Guide. His work and passion is sharing and showcasing the Inuit culture, the animals, the land, and the community in an authentic way.
To date, the two-year-old company has created a 50-episode series on the pursuit of revealing real and honest stories in an effort to inspire people to pursue the things they find most meaningful. The episodes are currently distributed through Discovery Education to tens of millions of viewers in over 50 countries.
The Vancouver-based company will be attending Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, happening September 27th and 28th, which will honour the world’s finest film productions. True Calling is nominated in the category of Tourism Films for Heart of the Arctic.
