Cliff Cardinal and The Skyelarks – This Is Not A Mistake is a collection of contemporary folk songs by award winning writer Cliff Cardinal. Performed in a diverse collection of styles and genres (folk, accoustic driven reggae, and ska, with jazz and gospel influences), the self-effacing songs vary in subject matter from love and heartbreak; to being Indian when you’re supposed to say “First Nation’s.” The result is a sincere and stylistically diverse pop sound.
