Just For A Moment
David & Monique were once lovers who made promise to each other that were meant to be kept. Monique sure thought so. David wanted too, but also had another dream. Fifteen years later they are in a garden trying to find out what went wrong. Can they get back to love!
Just For A Moment is the story Of David Phillips an aspiring painter who leaves his Island home and His fiancée Monique Wilson and travel to Toronto to follow his dream of becoming a world Renown Painter. He arrives in the cold North with a pocketful of dreams and a head full of hope.
Soon the reality of North American life hits him and he struggle to make ends meet.
In his despair he fails to keep in touch with Monique, citing that he could not find the words to explain his predicament.
15 years has passed and he is home with his first art exhibition and a burning desire to see Monique.

Artists Added to Just For A Moment Art Show
In Just For A Moment, David leaves his island home of St.Vincent to Canada to pursue his Career as an Artist, so during the ten day run we are giving space to for Artists and on our Opening Night, along with a Reception for the Play we are invite our to view a selection of painting by African/Caribbean Canadian Artists in the gallery at Pia Bouman Theatre Lobby. We are having out Closing Reception March 6th. The added artists to the showcase are:
Jabari (Elicser) Elliot
Toronto has a few well known ‘graffiti alleys’ that have become destinations for locals to visit again and again to enjoy the artwork by the variety of graffiti artists who treat the surrounding walls as their canvases. These outdoor all access galleries are spread around the city and one of the artists whose work you can’t miss inthe alleys around town is Jabari Elliott – better known as elicser. As well as a prominent Graffiti Artist, he is also a illustrator, animator, and painter. Jabrari also work with his father Walter on the Set Design Team for Just For a Moment.

The Diaspora Travels:Haiti – Malinda Francis (a docuvixen Film)
In Haiti Ongoing Feature Film in development as well as a Multi-Media Project that Investigates the barriers preventing resources from reaching those who most need them. Uncovering roles that Haitians and Diasporic Haitians play in the`Reconstruction’. The multi-media project follows the migration stories of throughout the Diaspora.
The Director/Producer being Malinda Francis (a docuvixen film) who has been following the Haitian Diaspora since the January 12, 2010 Earthquake, her focus is migration stories of the Black, Caribbean, and African Diaspora.
