This initiative aims to promote the capacity and leadership of Indigenous Youth (aged 18-35) to express their own creative perspectives and firsthand experiences on water-related inequities in Canada as well as influence water governance in their communities and beyond. In doing so, this initiative will mobilize Indigenous Youth through training and mentorship to implement social art projects that promote the importance and fundamental role of water in the survival, wellness, culture, spirituality, and self-determination of Indigenous Peoples and all living beings.
