16 JUNE 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Canadian songwriting phenom, SHAWNEE releases “Warrior Heart” an incredibly moving track whose proceeds will join the fight in ending indigenous youth suicide.More of a project than it is just a single, “Warrior Heart” is a movement, and a goal to eradicate the current crisis of youth suicide that is inflicting the indigenous population of Canada. “‘Warrior Heart’ expresses my own hardships as a young person, but more than that, it speaks to inspiring these young people to fight for their lives as they are Warriors,” says Shawnee, “I have decided to work with the We Matter campaign.
